Ground Up’s Supernatural Series has been coming in weekly waves and the newest addition has a crazy good feature from Action Bronson. Their music keeps getting better and better and won’t be slowing down anytime soon. With a mixtape release date of September 18th, I’ll be sitting around listening to the tracks for days leading up to the drop. Make sure you see them live, they know how to put on a show and you can see all their tour dates here, all leading up to another show at the TLA in Philadelphia celebrating Supernatural’s release. Check out the baller track ‘Hold Me Down’ above and the next episode of Common Ground below.
Video Interview and Live Performance
There is no denying that PANA! absolutely crushed their performance at Alive@Five opening for the Los Lonely Boys. Our team was lucky enough to catch up with them before the show and get into the mindset behind the scenes to see their chemistry and dynamic as a group. Our apologies for the audio, it was a very windy day, but hopefully you can hear just about everything and get to know the band a little bit more. Enjoy!
Skrillex recently wrapped up his South American tour and made a nice 13 minute video of the highlights. That. Looked. Absurd. Not only was that whole video crazy, but you can tell how much Skrillex enjoys playing those shows. As an added bonus, I think I just downloaded every song used as background music for it, so be sure to check that out.
The HandsDownMusic team had the chance to sit down with Jay Loftus before his Alive@Five performance on June 28th to talk about his journey, making music videos and what’s next for his fans.
The HandsDownMusic team was able to catch up with Los Lonely Boys before their performance at Alive@Five in Stamford, CT on June 21, 2012. We gotta say, these guys are pretty damn cool and are clearly in the business of making fun music for everyone to enjoy. Check out the full photo album from their performance here and get a glimpse of what they’re all about above. Video Credits – Zach Wolff.
HandsDownMusic was able to catch up with Harmonic Blue during finals week at the University of Maryland and get into the heads of the Anthony, Gabe and Zach to see what their band is all about. If you havent heard by now, they opened up for Art Attack at UMD with headliners B.o.B and The Dean’s List, which is an amazing accomplishment. Get the full story in the interview, see them perform two songs from their new album Villa Borghese and get all their tour dates below.

Ground Up is making strides on a regular basis and this video was just posted about their sell out show at TLA in Philadelphia. It’s crazy to hear about these guys performing in basements when they just started out and they moved up to selling out a show in the heart of Philly following the release of their 10th mixtape, appropriately entitled The Get Up. Not only that, but they were the first independent, local act to sell out the famous TLA, which is unreal. This video is a must watch, so get on it and Ground Up is sure to be in the spotlight soon.
Sure, this video was released last summer, but there’s no doubt that Big Sean has come a long way since his start. I remember when was working with Mike Posner back when I was in high school and now he’s on top of the world. He’s made incredible progress since then and I’m always looking forward to his new material. This is a pretty sweet video about his come up and where he is now, so give it a look and see where Big Sean came from.
Ground Up is on the come up. Since dropping their last mixtape, The Get Up, they’ve released a baller new music video set in Amsterdam and now we get a behind the scenes look at what they’re all about. They’ve got a lot on their plate and are having fun doing it – living the life for sure. Check out the video and see the first two installments below.
